Show horse: Winning nationals.
Stock horse: Winning the ASHLA class at Canberra Royal, as it was the first time I had competed in this class at a Royal.
MY FAVOURITE EXERCISE OR TRAINING TO PRACTICE IS…
I love doing some lateral and pole work to have my horses thinking about what they are doing and getting them into a zone (rather than just circle work).
WHAT IS YOUR BEST COMPETITION DAY TIP OR ADVICE?
- Put the ground work in over the weeks and months leading into the competition.
- Remember the tips your instructor tells you in lessons and apply them on competition day.
- Prepare what you need the day before competition.
- Stay focus and enjoy every moment.
