Welcome to the BARE Equestrian website (Website). By using this Website, you agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and agree that your continued use of the site is subject to ongoing compliance with these terms and conditions. 

This Website is the property of BARE Equestrian Pty Limited ABN 36 644 563 119. This Website is maintained by BARE Equestrian and its appointed agencies.

Returns, Exchanges and Cancelled Orders 

We want you to love what you’ve ordered and ensure you are happy with what you have received. If you have questions or concerns, let us know. 

Returns will not be accepted for change of mind or if the item is not suitable. Refunds will be provided if a product is faulty and BARE Equestrian does not have a suitable replacement. Providing a refund is at the discretion of BARE Equestrian. 

Customers are responsible for any return shipping charges. 

To exchange an item, the product MUST be in original condition (unworn and unwashed) with all labels attached and in correct original packaging with barcode visible. Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase. 

Items must be returned free of pet hair, fake tan, makeup or other stains. They must not smell of smoke, cosmetics, perfume, deodorant, washing powder or other products.

Returns or exchanges are NOT available on sale items, unless the item is faulty, so please choose carefully.

You may be able to change your order if you advise us prior to your order being shipped. To see if your order can be changed please email us at hello@bareequestrian.com 

PLEASE NOTE if an order was paid for via Afterpay or PayPal and we accept cancellation of your order, an order cancellation fee of 8% will be charged.  

BARE Equestrian reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at anytime without reason. We will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received. 

Faulty Items

In addition to any other rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, BARE Equestrian will accept faulty product returns for items purchased directly with bareequestrian.com, provided you contact us at hello@bareequestrian.com within 6 months of purchase. This is a reasonable timeframe to determine if our products carry any fault or defect, and you may then be eligible for a replacement or refund. Every BARE Equestrian piece developed is tested by our team for durability and performance, however, clothing garments used for equestrian and active lifestyle pursuits are reasonably expected to wear. A product considered faulty is one that is not of acceptable quality or one that does not work, or appear as it should. Any consumer guarantees do not apply where, after sale, the product is damaged through misuse or abnormal use.

If you believe there is a fault with the item you have received, you must give full details of the defect or fault, together with images, and your order number or name under which the order was placed, to then email listed above. We will then issue a return note to send the faulty item back to our warehouse.

When returning a product, you will be asked for information that is relevant to your return, or to satisfy legislative requirements. If you do not provide this information, then we may be unable to process your return.

Returns and Faults purchased from retail stores

Any products purchased through retail and saddlery stores must be returned to those stores under their returns and refund policy. We are unable to assist directly on these returns.

Dispatch & Shipping 

BARE Equestrian use multiple carriers and will always offer the best rate available to you at the time of placing your order. Shipping will be calculated at time of checkout. BARE Equestrian reserves the right to change shipping rates charged to any destination and/or delivery method at any time. 

Free shipping is offered on orders with a cart value of $199AUD or higher with a delivery address within Australia, and international orders of a cart value the equivalent of $349AUD or higher.

Orders are normally dispatched within 1-2 business days of placing the order, subject to all items being in stock. If items cannot be fulfilled we will contact you to advise. 

Online orders for delivery within Australia are normally dispatched via Australia Post and usually arrive within 3-5 business days from dispatch. We will deliver throughout Australia to your Home or Business Address, or if you are purchasing a gift, to your gift recipient's address within Australia. Each order requires a single delivery point. It is recommended that you consider where you will be during business hours, to ensure you put down a relevant delivery address. 

Wholesale customers are responsible for shipping charges on all orders. Free shipping does NOT apply to any wholesale account.

Pricing 

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD). Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from suppliers. We reserve the right to make changes to pricing at any time. BARE Equestrian reserves the right to change prices without notice. 

Online orders can only be accepted with payment via Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard), Afterpay and PayPal. 

Duties and Taxes 

When orders are shipped outside of Australia and reach their destination country, they may be subject to customs charges and taxes. They may also be subject to clearance procedures outside of our control that may cause delivery delays to your address.

BARE Equestrian cannot be held liable for any possible custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be payable on arrival to the destination country. These remain the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for further information or pricing for any applicable taxes in your region.

To the full extent permissible by law, BARE Equestrian makes no representations or warranties of any kind, as to the operation of the site, the information, content, materials or products, included on this site.  

To the full extent permissible by law, BARE Equestrian disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

BARE Equestrian use a third party email marketing platform to send you emails when you subscribe.

This offer is available to new customers on their first order only. After joining our community you will be added to our newsletter and our rewards program.

The offer discount code will be emailled directly to your inbox and is redeemable on full priced items from the date you join, with an expiry of 14 days. This discount is not available to be used in conjunction with any other sales, discounting or offers, including a redemption of BARE Rewards points.

BARE Rewards

The BARE Rewards program is open to individuals 18 years and older with a unique email address who have an account with BARE. Upon sign up of account, a Member will be awarded 1000 points for joining.

Members can view their Rewards at any time by logging into their account on our Website. Member details can be updated or amended at any time when logged in.

It is the responsibility of the Member to maintain their details, such as email, address, birthday and contact number. BARE accepts no responsibility for information a Member may not receive about sales, membership, rewards or other special offers when details are not correct.

Members may not transfer their account or Rewards to another person. 

Rewards are issued based on valid purchases made by Members on bareequestrian.com. Points will be issued at the time of purchase at a rate of 5 points per $1 dollar spent and are earned in AUD. Members must be logged into their account for Rewards Points to accumulate. BARE will not add points to accounts manually.

Rewards value is not redeemable for cash and may only be credited as value against an order on the BARE website. Rewards cannot be sold, transferred or assigned.

Rewards cannot be earned using other Rewards as part of the transaction and will accumulate on the order amount payable only, excluding shipping and any discounts.

If an order is cancelled, BARE may adjust or reverse Rewards that were redeemed or accumulated by the Member in a cancelled or partially cancelled transaction.

When a Member returns a purchase for a refund, the amount of the transaction will be deducted from the Member's balance and the Reward that was earned will be adjusted or reversed.

Reward points and any one-off rewards issued, such as birthday and anniversary gifts, have an expiry of 6 months from time of earning or date of issue.

BARE reserve the right to withdraw, cancel or vary the Rewards and tiers without notice at any time in its absolute discretion. We recommend you stay updated with information about our Rewards program on the Rewards page.

A Member may end their membership at any time by contacting BARE at hello@bareequestrian.com.

Other ways to earn Rewards

Members can also accumulate 200 bonus points by leaving a product review. This will only be awarded for one review within each 30 day period.

A member can also earn 100 points for each social media platform they follow us on; being Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Members will earn 100 points for each follow and this will be paid once only.

Members can also earn additional rewards dependent on their allocated VIP tier as explained below.

BARE Rewards and Tiers

Members are allocated to BARE Rewards tiers based on their spend total over a 12 month period prior as outlined below:

  • Pink: Spend $0-$499
  • Black: Spend $500-$999
  • Diamond: Spend $1000+

A Member may move to a new tier at any time their purchasing history qualifies them to move to the higher tier. Any rewards associated with the higher level tier will be applied at the time the customer qualifies. 

On each Member's anniversary, the annual purchase history will be reviewed and their tier will be adjusted based on annual spend, this may result in moving to a lower tier and losing existing points and rewards already accumulated.

If a customer moves down a tier, the benefits and rewards of the lower tier will not be issued.

The following rewards are available for Members, with variable amounts based on their Member tier:

  • Birthday reward (all tiers)
  • New Tier Welcome reward (Black and Diamond tiers only)
  • Free standard shipping on your account anniversary (Black and Diamond tiers only)
Redemption of Rewards

Rewards can only be redeemed on the BARE website on valid product purchases and must be processed by the Member at the time of checkout when logged into a valid account. 

Rewards may be redeemed once a Member reaches 500 points. The value of 500 points = $5. There is no minimum order value to redeem your rewards.

BARE will not apply or credit purchases where a Member did not apply their Rewards.

All Rewards have an expiry date as indicated in each tier's reward information, at which point they will no longer be available for redemption.

Rewards can only be redeemed once.

Social Media 

We at BARE Equestrian do our best to ensure the posts on our social pages are consistent with our brand and in good taste, reflecting the core values of our business. We expect that our users and friends will not post content that falls into the following categories: 

  • Abusive, defamatory or obscene 
  • Fraudulent, deceptive or misleading 
  • In violation of another’s intellectual property right 
  • In violation of any law or regulation 
  • Otherwise offensive. 

The view, opinions, depicted results and experiences expressed in user-submitted comments are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of BARE Equestrian. User comments are not edited, however to ensure a continually positive experience for the community, we may remove content or commentary containing SPAM, profanity or otherwise objectionable or prohibited material subject to these Terms of Use and in accordance with the social media channels' policies and terms.

These terms and conditions are governed by the law in force in New South Wales.

This policy applies to all personal information collected by BARE Equestrian, including via www.bareequestrian.com, social media pages, trade events, apps or from an individual via any other means, including physically or electronically.

We can assure you that we will always handle your personal information securely and carefully. WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

We collect personal information, that is information that allows you to be personally identified, from you directly at point of sale, when you contact us and when signing up to any of our offers, competitions or other touch points from time to time.  

As part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

We will only collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose for which it was collected, such as to: 

  • Complete a transaction with us; 
  • Assist you with a transaction, question or issue you have; 
  • Contact you with offers and information about products and services that may be of interest to you; or

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, return a purchase or sign up for our newsletter, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

PAYMENTS 

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SECURITY

The information that we collect from you may be held within Australia and processed by our employees and contractors operating in Australia who work for us. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Our staff are also bound by confidentiality agreements regarding the protection of customers personal information.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

WEB ANALYTICS, COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS

Our website uses cookies, which you can choose if you want to opt-out or not.

By using our Website, you agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our Website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency. 

This Website also uses Google Analytics to help improve the Website and improve your experience.  

Google Analytics sends information about your use of our Website to servers located outside of Australia. This information is used to prepare reports, help evaluate how the Website is being used, and improve the information and experience for you. 

BARE Equestrian uses Google Analytics data to improve overall user experience, measure and analyse usage across our Website and optimise ad selection. BARE Equestrian may enable Google Analytics for Display Advertising from time to time, which allows Google and other third parties to advertise to you on the Website and across the internet. 

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies although you can change your web browser settings to reject cookies, or to prompt you each time a website wishes to add a cookie to your browser. Please note that if you do disable this, not all functionality on our Website will be available to you. 

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Opt Out Browser add-on here. 

Google's Privacy Policy on their website explains how Google Analytics collects and processes information. No identifying information is collected and we hide parts of your IP address so that your identity remains anonymous. 

By using Google Ads Settings you can opt out of these features at any time and customise your Google Display Network Ads.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.  The latest version of the Privacy Policy will always be available on our Website. 

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
