Quick questions with Courtney

WHICH ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BARE PRODUCTS AND WHY? Courtney Cremasco

Bare thermal tights: They kept me warm all during the colder months and early morning rides. Could even wear them under my snow pants whilst snowboarding.

Bare gloves: Super grip and very stylish

Competition tights (stone and vanilla cream): Lots of grip. Easy to get on and off when getting changed quickly. Can wear them with short boots for the ponies and under tall boots for the galloways and hacks. Great colour to match each class or horse.

Bare saddle pad: Very breathable for the horse to naturally sweat in all the right places. Provides grip for where the saddle sits. Very stylish and comes in lots of colours. Suited to each discipline.

WHAT EQUESTRIAN ACHIEVEMENT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

2022 Bare Equestrian Horse of the Year Rider 18-25 Champion.

2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show Champion Ridden ANSA

2022 Kohnke’s Own Australasian Show Horse & Rider Championships 4th Place

2022 SHCV Hygain Summer Classic Champion Rider 21-30

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?

Always reminding myself I still have so much to learn.

Watching Olympic riders like Charlotte Fry, Charlotte Dujardin & Lyndal Oatley (there’s plenty more that fill my socials that help motivate my training).

Setting small achievable goals help me stay motivated as well as bigger goals I must then work a bit harder to achieve.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST COMPETITION DAY TIP OR ADVICE?

Get organized the night before by making a check list of all the items you will need on comp day. Know what time everything is scheduled for. Better to be a little early than a little late.

Always make time for a good calm warm up. A good warm up helps to have a good performance in front of the judges.

DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR GOAL OR PLAN YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT IN 2022?

As it’s my last year in the rider class 18-25 yrs my goal is to qualify for ea nationals in this age group one last time.

I would like to go for the ANSA 2023 highest point score award.

My plan is to be competing advance by the end of the year in dressage.
