Emily Stirling

Emily's passion for horses started at the age of 5, and once she had that first sit in the saddle, her path was paved. Emily is a full time coach and show jumping rider for her own equestrian business "Cloroy Park." With many jumping titles to her name, experience nationally and abroad, as well as a passion for sharing her skills and expertise, Emily embodies the dedication, attitude and work ethic that is required to be a BARE ambassador and role model to others in the equestrian industry.

Quick questions with Emily

WHAT EQUESTRIAN ACHIEVEMENT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF? 

I have had many achievements over the years that I am proud of, in 2017 I competed in Paris and in 2019 I won the Young Rider Of The Year title. Winning that award was very special to me, I have worked very hard to get to where I am today.

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?

Nothing worth having comes easy. I keep reminding myself of this on the hard days. I have had my fair share of setbacks but I use them as my fuel to keep that fire burning inside me and bounce back harder and stronger. If anyone ever needs a pep talk or someone to listen, please reach out to me! I love helping people work through their challenges and even just being an ear to listen when someone needs. I am here to help!

WHAT IS YOUR BEST COMPETITION DAY TIP OR ADVICE?

Orgainsation is key! Don’t leave things to the last minute. Have a plan in place and try your best to stick to it. I find it much easier and less stressful when I am organised and have a plan I can follow (I live off my whiteboard at shows!). Better to be early than late, set that alarm early on a show day to help you be best prepared.

DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR GOAL OR PLAN YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT IN 2022?

My sights are set on getting back out and competing at all the big shows this coming season. There has been many disruptions with not only covid but last year I had two major surgeries. I am looking forward to being back doing what I love with a team of 6 special horses on the truck.

WHICH ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BARE PRODUCTS AND WHY?

I am a lover of all the Bare products, however, if I had to pick some favourites, l love wearing the ThermoFit tights all year round, but especially in winter, they just feel amazing! The ThermoFit’s go very well with two other favourites of mine the Hollie & Charlotte jackets. They are lifesavers in winter! My favourite piece of horse wear are the Luxe Sport jump saddle pads, my horses wear them everyday they are such stylish and comfortable saddle pads for the horses.
