Emily's passion for horses started at the age of 5, and once she had that first sit in the saddle, her path was paved. Emily is a full time coach and show jumping rider for her own equestrian business "Cloroy Park." With many jumping titles to her name, experience nationally and abroad, as well as a passion for sharing her skills and expertise, Emily embodies the dedication, attitude and work ethic that is required to be a BARE ambassador and role model to others in the equestrian industry. In 2024 Emily has broadened her horizons and is competing in the US. We are excited to watch her thrive in the ring over there and are cheering her on as loudly as we can from Aus.

Quick questions with Emily

I COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT THIS BARE PRODUCT BECAUSE…?

I could not live without my thermo-fit tights because they are incredibly comfy and easy to do anything in, all day long! They are also perfect for the cold mornings over here in the US.

MY MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IS…?

My most memorable moment without a doubt is winning Young Rider Of The Year in 2019. It is nice when all of your hard work is recognised. Hard work pays off!

MY FAVOURITE EXERCISE OR
TRAINING TO PRACTICE IS…?

My favourite training with my horses is working on their adjustability with poles. To be successful in the ring you need to have an adjustable canter to work with between the fences, which all comes from the training at home over poles. Practice makes perfect, and poles need to be
your best friend as a show jumper!

WHAT IS YOUR BEST COMPETITION DAY TIP OR ADVICE?

Orgainsation is key! Don’t leave things to the last minute. Have a plan in place and try your best to stick to it. I find it much easier and less stressful when I am organised and have a plan I can follow (I live off my whiteboard at shows!). Better to be early than late, set that alarm early on a show day to help you be best prepared.

THE LAST THING I THINK ABOUT BEFORE ENTERING THE ARENA IS…?

The last thing I think about before entering the ring is always my plan. For example when I’ve walked the course and know what I have to do and how I have to ride it I am always thinking about how I am going to execute my plan in the ring.

RIGHT NOW I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO…?

Right now I am looking forward to competing in all of the incredible shows in the US. It is truly amazing to be able to compete alongside the worlds best riders at some incredible venues. I am very lucky, and very excited!

WHY DO YOU LOVE BEING A BARE AMBASSADOR?

I have been a Bare ambassador for 7 years now and it has been a wonderful time. I love working with a company that is forever evolving and becoming recognised internationally. The clothing is superior, and now having horsewear it really is a special brand and team to be a part of. I love working with the Bare team to
share new ideas and trends to make Bare the best it can be.

MY TOP 3 BARE PICKS ARE…

My top three Bare picks are -

1. Jump Pad - my horses all love these and the saddle never slips, they are perfect on the horses back as well as being very stylish.

2. Hollie Jacket - Is absolutely perfect for winter and keeping warm in. I also am often found wearing my Hollie Jacket out to nice (non-horse) events because it
is so flattering and stylish it can be worn anywhere.

3. Riding gloves - there are wonderful I use them everyday both off and on the horse. They are great to ride in and don’t restrict your hands but are also
perfect to wear when cleaning out stables and pushing around wheelbarrows!

WHICH ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BARE PRODUCTS AND WHY?

I am a lover of all the Bare products, however, if I had to pick some favourites, l love wearing the ThermoFit tights all year round, but especially in winter, they just feel amazing! The ThermoFit’s go very well with two other favourites of mine the Hollie & Charlotte jackets. They are lifesavers in winter! My favourite piece of horse wear are the Luxe Sport jump saddle pads, my horses wear them everyday they are such stylish and comfortable saddle pads for the horses.
